For scientific purposes, zoologist Gary Saurage needed to get close to large alligators.
The man eventually decided to transform into an alligator himself after debating the matter for several days.
He put together an alligator suit for himself despite the absurdity of the plan, climbed into the swamp to the alligators, and he asked his partner to record their reaction on video.
Gary, 51, has long been interested in alligators. As the proprietor of the Gator Country Wildlife Park in Texas, he is frequently tasked with capturing alligators that occasionally enter farmers’ backyards.
Gary decided to install sensors on several park visitors while dressing as an alligator.
Naturally, people were unlikely to approach several meters-long reptiles.
So, Saurage put together an alligator suit and crept over the water to the resting alligators.
The first reptiles he encountered did not seem to pay him any attention, which surprised him. The man was able to successfully land and attach the sensor to the place of interest.
But then Gary felt secure and stood in the middle of the group.
Long periods of involvement assisted Gary with remaining so quiet. However, he claimed that he would not experiment again.
