Sometimes our pets go missing so unexpectedly that it breaks our hearts deeply. But there are also cases when they return unexpectedly.
Meet the cat named Lucky who has been missing for 2 years. But last month resident of Prairie Village, Kansas found her in the streets. It was dangerous for the orange tabby cat to be outside in such cold weather. So the resident contacted the local Animal Control Unit for help.
This orange tabby cat was found by one of our residents. The microchip came back to an owner in Miami, Florida! Our animal control officer contacted the owner in Miami and is working on getting them reunited after two years of being separated! Still figuring out she got here:) pic.twitter.com/nKtNq9LHaP

After checking the microchip the police discovered that she was actually from Miami, Florida, over 1,400 miles away. They also found out that the cat had been missing for over 2 years.
Capt. Washington told that it was almost unbelievable but they were too happy to find the lost tabby cat.
The family is still searching for her and they are thrilled to learn about the news. The cat’s name is to the point. The rescuers also get curious about her name and claimed taht she is truly very lucky to be found after 2 years.
Lucky’s story touched many hearts and she became so famous that she even took part in the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
As the story went viral immediately several people are offering their support to the cat and her family. The distance is very much so the cat has to be transported to Miami not so easily. However due to the kind people soon she will be at home. Until she is transported she will stay at Great Plains Pet Adoption Center.
