It happens once every 48 million births! She is the young child that stunned medical professionals from all around the world

The tale of Lucy Marie Perkins’ birth is more remarkable than astonishing. It’s more than just unlikely. It affects one out of every 48 million people.

Tuesday night saw the birth of Lucy, the first child of Caitlin and Tom Perkins.

The husband and wife team of Tom and Caitlin, both of whom were born on August 16, 1986, are both extraordinary people in their own way.

The young Perkins, however, seemed to think that honoring Mom and Dad’s birthdays wasn’t enough because he wanted to take part in the celebration 30 years later.

“Please hold onto the phone! You won’t believe this story, Dr. Brad Robinson, Caitlin’s obstetrician, wrote on his Facebook page.

“Can you name any other people who were born on August 16th right now? Yep. On the same day as her parents, Lucy was born after going into spontaneous labor.

Ah, yes. The likelihood of the baby, the father, and the mother all having the same birthday is one in 48 million.

More than a week had passed since Mum should have given delivery when this occurred.

Lucy made the decision to enter the world before Caitlin and Tom, who are from Dirranbandi in South West Queensland, could even attend their joint 30th birthday dinner.

When Caitlin went into labor, the Greenslopes Private Hospital in Brisbane received her.

“When my waters broke, I said, ‘No way,’ because I was in denial,” the woman claimed.

But the infant was impatient and came into the world at 39 weeks at 6:45 p.m., weighing a healthy 3.3kg.

Dr. Robinson, who has more than ten years of experience in the field, said it was one of the most memorable days of his life.

“Today was fantastic,” he said, “but I’m fortunate enough to have a career where I get exceptional days like this.”

You don’t wake up excited to answer the phone at 2:15 in the morning every day. However, the midwife called at 2:15 a.m. to let me know Caitlin had ruptured her waters. I was thrilled since I had sort of wanted it to go that way.

Wow.

There is little doubt that the Perkins will throw a fantastic party on August 16 every year.
