Zack and Autumn Carver were ecstatic to have their third child in 2021 and were overcome with pleasure

They had no idea how painful the birth of their son would be.

Autumn made news when she was able to hold her newborn boy for the first time in more than seven weeks after having an emergency c-section while in the hospital with COVID-19.

Autumn Carver, 34, gave birth to Huxley via emergency C-section at 33 weeks’ gestation on August 27 in the same hospital in Indiana. She held Huxley for the first time on October 19 of the following year, 2021.

Zach, the husband of the 34-year-old expectant woman, and their COVID tests were both positive in August. Zach had a temperature, but Autumn’s lung issues required that to be put on a ventilator.

Huxley Carver, her first son and third child, was born after she was evacuated to Methodist Hospital. Although Huxley was hospitalized for ten days, Autumn received life support.

But Autumn fought bravely, and more than two months later, she was able to give birth to her unborn child.

Zach Carver, her husband, said on Good Morning America that it was “very emotional for myself, her parents, of course, and of course for Autumn.” She is fighting so ferociously to go home to our children, which is the reason.

Her husband described his wife as the most lovely and caring person who could make anyone happy.

“She finally got to see our kid today at 3 pm, and needless to say, it was a fantastic moment. The beautiful occasion was observed by her parents, one of her closest friends, numerous nurses, and physicians. I’m not sure whether anyone in the vicinity had a dry eye. Later this afternoon, I overheard Autumn tell Zach, “I love you.” What a fantastic day.

We still have a ways to go, but today was a good day, which was much-needed. Autumn expresses her gratitude for all the kind wishes and encouragement she has received. God be with you.

The mother of three was then flown to Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Due to how poorly her lungs are currently doing, she may eventually require a lung transplant.

On November 17, Zach updated his Facebook status regarding his wife’s health, writing: “She is becoming stronger and is increasingly able to walk around our room without a walker.

“We went from she’s going to die, to she’s going to need a full lung transplant, to she’s going home,” he added. It truly is a miracle.

I’m so happy to see this supermom on the mend; it truly is a miracle and demonstrates the fortitude of this mother to recover so she can be there for her children.
