All of Tom Hanks’ roles have had a profound impact, making him one of the world’s favorite actors. To film buffs, he will be for all time recognized as Forrest Gump, Sam from Restless in Seattle, and John Mill operator from Saving Confidential Ryan.
Such is the reverence for Hanks in the US that he is tenderly alluded to as “America’s Daddy.”
