Robert De Niro, a well-known actor, has revealed that he is now the proud father of seven children.
When he made the sudden announcement, the Academy Award-winning actor was chatting with ET Canada while he was promoting his new movie, About My Father.
When the reporter Brittnee Blair said that she was aware that De Niro had six children, she set the stage.
He corrected her, “Seven.” I recently had a child.
De Niro shares his oldest kids – 51-year-old Drena and 46-year-old Raphael – with his most memorable spouse, Diahnne Abbott. He then invited twins Julian and Aaron – who are 27 – with then-sweetheart Toukie Smith, before having 24-year-old Elliot and 11-year-old Helen Beauty with Grace Hightower.
ET Canada contacted the actor’s representatives to confirm the seventh pregnancy with De Niro, but they were unable to locate any additional information regarding the potential mother of the new child.
However, there has been a lot of speculation that he shares his most recent addition with Tiffany Chen, his girlfriend. When she was seen leaving a restaurant in California with what some believed to be a visible baby bump in March 2023, she drew attention and sparked rumors.
Chen and De Niro are said to have been together since 2021, having first met on the set of the 2015 film The Intern.
De Niro is the first to point out that despite his years of experience, he still does not consider himself to be a “cool dad,” even though the seventh time may be the charm.
As he put it, “It’s impossible to get around it with kids. I dislike being required to enact laws and other similar regulations. But there are times when you simply cannot choose.
“And I think any parent would say the same thing. You generally believe that should make the best choice for the kids and assume the best about them however in some cases you can’t.”
