When Katy Perry attended the coronation of King Charles III over the weekend, she not only made headlines during the event but also wowed audiences at the coronation concert on Sunday.
The 38-year-old singer took the stage to perform an electrifying display of pyrotechnics and flashing lights of her worldwide hits “Roar” and “Firework.”
On Sunday, May 7, the coronation concert was held on the grounds of Windsor Castle in front of 20,000 members of the general public and guests. It was broadcast on BBC radio and television stations.
At the Coronation Concert, which was held to commemorate the naming of the King and Queen Consort, Katy, and her fellow American Idol judge Lionel Richie performed.
In recognition of their collaboration with the British Asian Trust and the Children’s Protection Fund, the singer dedicated her number one hit “Firework” to the King.
In a now-adorably viral video, Princess Charlotte was seen singing along to “Roar” while her mother, the Princess of Wales, moved to the beat.
However, Orlando Bloom, her 46-year-old fiancé, posted a sweet message to her on social media after seeing her performance.

They have devoted their time to taking care of their two-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, despite the numerous rumors that they secretly tied the knot.
