Neglected horse can’t resist emotions when she finally gets to run freely in field

Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue knew they had to assist some severely malnourished horses as soon as they received an anonymous call.

Their hearts were immediately broken when they went to see the horses the caller from Dover, New York, had mentioned across the river.

Deanna, the founder of LOHR, set out to assist the horses because it wasn’t hard to see that they were in terrible health.

Rosie, the horse in the worst condition, appeared to be in imminent danger of falling.

Her hair was matted and torn, and her ribs were visible.

In addition, you could see the stress she had been through on her face.

Rosie, her girl Britt, and one more pony named noon were trapped in a harsh spot where they would need to battle for food.

Deanna was thrilled when Amanda, Rosie’s only human friend, agreed to assist them in restoring her health.

Rosie and the other horses received their first baths and ample food thanks to Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue.

In preparation for the most important day, the horses received fresh water, food, and their first bath. Additionally, they had their hooves trimmed.

The horses would soon be healthy and ready to receive their due freedom.

Even the horses can’t believe it when it comes time to free them.

The horses wait for a moment as the gate is opened before bolting out into the open air.

It is reassuring to know that they are now safe and will never again have to worry about food or shelter. 

It’s wonderful to see these horses enjoying their freedom, and this story is truly inspirational. They will never again have to be concerned about going hungry.
