This latter contrast was demonstrated beyond a reasonable doubt when four young boys in Detroit’s 7 Mile neighborhood went above and beyond to save a dog in need of immediate assistance.

Andrew Daniels, a friend of the brothers Kenny, Kenneth, and Kevin Dancy was helping a local woman who was moving house when they came across an incident that would have shocked any adult. They were going about their rather distinct business.

They came across an abandoned dog that had been bungee-corded to the back of a house. The poor puppy was seriously ill, emaciated, and shaking from exposure.

The young men realized they needed to move quickly. Before releasing the dog from her chains and bringing her home with them so they could feed and water her, they covered the dog in a winter coat to keep her warm. Sparkle was given to the poor dog by the brave children.
