Meeting someone you’ve known for a long time for the first time is one of life’s greatest moments. As a result, Vardis, a puppy who was three years old and had spent more than half of his life in foster homes and shelters, was overjoyed to finally meet his sister!

The untrained dog arrived at OTAT (One Tail At A Time) in Chicago in 2021. He was barely fighting off a severe case of pneumonia. He received excellent care from the veterinarians at OTAT until he fully recovered!

He was then encouraged by Lynsey, a kind woman who decided to conduct a DNA test to determine the dog’s true breed. She was surprised to learn that he is half American bully and half golden retriever! Vardis, on the other hand, was ready to go to a second foster home with Jessica Jones, who knew about his breed.

However, Vardis was pleased to receive an email containing the identical DNA test for an additional dog one day! This suggests Vardis is related to someone!
After Jones got the information, a playdate was set up! Jones was a little hesitant when Vardis responded, but when Vardis met Brunch, he immediately remembered her! She is his long-lost sister! The gathering was wonderful!

We have faith that he will soon find a permanent home. He could be a great pet because he is so friendly to everyone he meets. Below is the video.
