This tale tells the story of a poor dog named Zoomie, who was only four months old when her family left her to fend for herself! The dog that was left in the woods took cover under olive trees and drank from a stream to stay hydrated!
A good Samaritan noticed her while she was waiting for her family to return and fed her each time he passed! The man then contacted ACPR (Adams County Pet Rescue), who informed them of the dog.
Kyya Award, the head of ACPR, addressed the call and straightforwardly went to the scene for help. She saw the dog and knew it would be difficult to save her because she was so scared! As a result, she decided to first earn her trust.
She tried to communicate with her to assure her that she was fine, but she was unsuccessful! She therefore left the dog and returned the following evening with food. Zoomie could tell Grant was scary because she didn’t bark much. After that, the dog approached the food and began eating. The rescuer then got to touch her!
After that, Grant left her, and the next morning, he came back to see if she could take the dog with her. Zoomie began to cry out of joy when she saw Grant once more. As a result, putting the dog in the crate became simpler, and she immediately entered it!
Zoomie received the treatment and medication she required at ACPR. It was time for her to find a forever home once she was completely healthy. She was fortunate that she found the forever home she needed quickly, as a couple fell in love with her right away! She is currently thriving in her forever home.
