Friendly capybara grabs her new human friend and goes to introduce him to whole family

Capybaras, the largest rodent in the world, live in northern and central South America. The resemblance between them and guinea pigs is apparent!

These gentle animals live near water because they need to be in the water for about half of their time. The majority of them can be kept as pets and live in the wild with other capybaras.

A group of capybaras frequented Luciano Mochinski’s daily trek through Brazil’s Parque Náutico. He took photos and videos of them having fun lying on the grass.

However, on one wet day, something unforeseen occurred.

A capybara hid behind Luciano’s back and they became close to each other. Luciano named him Capi.

When Luciano passed the capybaras once more the following day, Capi suddenly moved toward him and demanded proper introductions. They would spend every day together ever since when he went to the park. Capi valued Luciano’s visits because they provided her with cuddles and affection.

Not surprisingly, Luciano was walking around the recreation area when he saw two new gatherings of individuals. They appeared to be infants. These little ones belonged to his new friend Capi.

Capi took care of her children as any other new mother would. Despite her naturally protective nature, she allowed Luciano to get close to her and her children. She was comfortable letting him near her while she was nursing them.

Capi also gave Luciano permission to play with her babies and pet them.
