However, Johnny preferred to hide from the paparazzi. Now, the 59-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star lives a largely reclusive life in his opulent mansion in Somerset, England.
But the actor doesn’t forget to leave home from time to time. So the other day Johnny showed up at an antique store in Lincolnshire (private he’s 300 km fine with a helicopter). The store owner told reporters the visit was a surprise to his employees. They were overjoyed and rushed out to have their picture taken with the superstar.
Of course, the footage was circulated on the Internet. From the photos released by the Daily Mail, it’s clear that Johnny didn’t care about the outfit, as he’s dressed to whitewash the ceiling of his mansion. For the rare public appearances, the actor chose a crumpled cream shirt covered in patches and white paint stains and matching jeans.
He ended up buying a desk chair, a paint set, an easel, a skull vase, various paintings and decorations, and three guitars.

The store owner suggested that Depp purchase an instrument in memory of his close friend and virtuoso guitarist Jeff Beck. Also, eyewitnesses report that the actor was very friendly, communicating with everyone immediately.
