Fishing in the woods can refer to fishing in streams, rivers, or lakes that are located in or near forested areas. This type of fishing can be a great way to enjoy the beauty of nature while pursuing your passion for angling. However, when fishing in teh woods, people expect to catch fish and not an owl.
Elmre Olceroglu once went fishing in New Jersey and unfortunately found an unexpected owl.
Instead of finding a fish, the fisherman was astounded to notice a screech owl trapped in a fishing line hanging from a tree. He was filming the surrounding nature with its beauty and at first, the owl was camouflaged. But then he heard a screeching sound. This sound was made by owls when they are scared.
Though it was too difficult, the man managed to catch and free the bird from its trap.
