People will never get tired of the most beautiful and lovely creatures of nature; birds. They can amaze us not only with their wonderful voices but also with their stunning appearances.
Meet a bird who has a sunset coat – the flame bowerbird.
These stunning birds can be found almost everywhere starting from cacia woods, eucalyptus, and rainforests, and ending with the shrublands of Papua New Guinea.
The bird’s body resembles fire, as implied by its name. They are easy to spot among the shrubs and plants due to their stunning feather coat. The male bird’s top is on a dazzling red orange tint, matched with the striking yellow waist, dull wings, and tail with a yellow end. The female has a paler color, sort of olive brown with a light yellow midsection.
It hard to observe these birds’ eating regimen but most of all they feeds on insects and fruits.
The flame bowerbird performs an incredible dance with its stunningly colored coat. To get the attention of the female, the male will demonstrate his skills and beauty. The female begins constructing a nest out of plant tendrils and leaves after selecting a mate. This bird only lays one egg at a time, and the eggs hatch between 19 and 24 days later.
These wonderful species are not vulnerable according to to the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
