An aardwolf cub was discovered by farmers in Johannesburg, South Africa. Because they are rarely seen on this continent, the majority of people are unaware of what an aardwolf is. They raised her after contacting the wildlife veterinarian for assistance.

She was given the name Maple, and she lived in the home of her rescuers. The animal naturally developed a bond with her rescuer. These creatures only consume termites. Maple needed to prepare for release. She was supposed to become accustomed to the field’s sights and sounds. She made a burrow and was moved to an outdoor enclosure.
