As motherly instincts kick in, a reluctant mother panda accepts her child

When discussing pandas, many of us conjure up images of giant, fluffy black-and-white creatures. However, when they are born, they are unrecognizable.

The newborn pandas are pink, wrinkled, bald, and as small as a butter stick.

Additionally, the lively, furless cubs are unable to control their body temperatures, walk, hear, or crawl. So they need their mothers or other human caregivers.

Min Min and her infant have split up. Their reunion was both heartwarming and upsetting at the same time.

When Min MIn’s baby was born the caregivers should take the little one for a short time as it needed special care. But when the time has come they took the baby to its mom.

The young panda’s caregivers were aware that its mother would not immediately accept the baby. And when they put the baby in the cage Min Min didn’t come closer at once.

But the tiny creature began to cry because she needed her mother. Min Min didn’t come that quickly. After a brief period of waiting, her maternal instinct kicked in and she surrendered.

Too heartbreaking was the moment they met each other.
