Kham La rushed into the water to assist the man drowning there.
Elephants are remarkable and intelligent creatures. They have emotional intelligence and a great deal of empathy.
Sadly, though, these gentle animals are not always treated with the respect they deserve.

Elephants are prized by people because they possess something that man cannot produce—ivory. Because of this, keeping these animals in the wild can be risky. As a result, sanctuaries receive some of the animals that undergo testing.
Kham La was brought to the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand in 2016 when he was just five years old.

Kham La was eventually taken to the Elephant Nature Park, where she saw her mother again.
They were both overjoyed by this. Despite her initial reluctance, her mother was traumatized by their previous separation. However, they established their connection quickly.
In the same year, Kham La had the opportunity to demonstrate to everyone that elephants are gentle creatures who do not intend to harm humans.
Indeed, when she saw a man floating in the river, Kham La intended to save a life, or at least that’s what she did.

Kham La spotted a sanctuary worker named Darrick swimming in the river because he didn’t appear to be in any trouble. She acted right away because she was aware that she had to assist him.
The elephant rushed into the water and quickly began to move toward the man. Darrick started swimming to the river bank when he realized Kham La was approaching, possibly afraid that he might get hurt if the large animal got too close to him.

Darrick appears pleased that Kham La went through all of this trouble to save him when she quickly approaches him.

The man could use the elephant’s extended trunk as a pool noodle to stay afloat. The man smiles as the two of them hug each other in what appears to be a warm embrace!
