Sometimes dogs are the only creatures that prevent us from a serious tragedy. They can be attentive while we are sleeping and can save our children while we are out.
This case happened in Detroit. On February 21, a baby was playing with a lighter when this game turned into a danger for the whole family. She managed to ignite a fire and their house began burning heavily.
Janet Kelley had been living with her fiance and three kids at that time. At the time of the fire, Janet and her fiance were out with their oldest kids but her brother was at home with their rescue dog Blue and one of the children.
Blue was a pit bull and Lab mix and turned out to be a very brave dog.
As Janet’s brother tried to enter the burning house and save the dog and the child he couldn’t manage. But Blue was there and he supported the little kid stuck in her playpen. As soon as the firefighters arrived it was Blue who accompanied them to the baby and they managed to take both the dog and the baby out of that smoking house.
The family remained with the burnt house and with no money. So they started a GoFundMe campaign and after a while could find a motel for a temporary living.
However, everything will be solved and the family will soon live with every member in a new house due to their brave dog Blue and the kind-hearted people who keep supporting them with money.
