Puppy Leaps From Car Into Oncoming Traffic And Lives To Tell The Tale

Although it is recommended that dogs be secured with seat belts at all times in a moving vehicle, many pet owners feel comfortable letting their pets roam freely in the vehicle.

Unfortunately, there are myriad reasons why you shouldn’t put your dog in a car without a seatbelt.

Ryan Cramer was driving with his 6-month-old dog, Sophie, on a busy Los Angeles highway.

Cramer had reportedly rolled the window down to let in some fresh air, so Sophie decided to jump out the window into the oncoming car.

Footage captured the moment Sophie hit hard concrete and narrowly dodged semi-truck and other vehicles.

Unluckily, Sophie got a fractured hip from the jump but now she is getting better.

This case is the best example for any pet owner to make sure that their dogs are safe while driving.
