Coyotes are common in Nevada, but domestic dogs living with coyotes are not.
Last summer, residents of the town of Henderson kept seeing an all-white dog walking with a local coyote herd.

He seemed happy and was wagging his tail all the time, but the dog wasn’t feeling well and needed human intervention.
Rescuers believe he was abandoned as a puppy, and some believe he was even the leader of a coyote pack.

No one was able to catch him, so a professional trapper came to his aid. The Ghost appeared limping and weak, so the Trapper feared that the Coyote would eventually attack the Ghost and made capture his top priority.

Ultimately, after two weeks, the trapper was able to catch him with a baited trap.
He was immediately taken to the Amor Pedro Rescue Center in Las Vegas for medical attention and is now recovering well.
